The American Cancer Society’s Richmond Golf Classic is a high-end, amenity-rich tournament that raises funds for the Society’s mission of improving the lives of people with cancer and their families through advocacy, research, and patient support, to ensure everyone has an opportunity to prevent, detect, treat, and survive cancer by bringing together over 200 golfers and distinguished guests around the mission of the American Cancer Society. While progress has been made in cancer research, we still have a lot of work to do.
For more than 36 years, corporate leaders have united on a Richmond golf course with a shared purpose: saving lives.
The event begins with an unforgettable afternoon celebration at Dover Hall featuring live music, incredible food, silent and live auction and a few surprises for all, followed by an outstanding day of golf at Hermitage Country Club.
Generosity turns into action — delivering hope, strength, and over $4 million in life‑changing support for families.
We invite you to join our efforts to finish the fight against cancer.

Liz brought bold vision to the Richmond Golf Classic, launching the first-ever Bourbon & Bubbles event in 2025. With a strong background in event leadership and a deep passion for advancing the mission of the American Cancer Society, Liz transformed the concept into the “garden party of the year”. While Liz will be stepping back from leadership in 2026, she continues to serve on the Board of Ambassadors and the Auction & Experience Committee shaping the future of the Richmond Golf Classic.

Launched in 2025 by our visionary Auction & Experience Committee, Bourbon & Bubbles has quickly become the garden party of the year.
This unforgettable afternoon brings together our vibrant golfing community, passionate leaders, generous donors, and enthusiastic supporters—all united to fuel our mission and raise awareness in style as we par-tee prior to golfing the following day.
Mark your calendars for Bourbon & Bubbles 2026 on Sunday April 19, 2026, at Dover Hall.

As the only organization combating cancer through advocacy, discovery, and patient support, the American Cancer Society has made significant contributions to the fight against cancer over the last 110 years. We advocate for lifesaving policy changes, promote healthy lifestyles to help prevent cancer, and provide information, answers, and support to people in every community who have been touched by cancer. We also research cancer and its causes to find more answers and better treatment.
The American Cancer Society provides information and resources to help patients and their loved ones manage through cancer treatment and recovery, and to help with the emotional support they need. They also work to remove barriers that stand between the patient and lifesaving treatment.
For many patients with cancer, transportation challenges can create barriers to receive the treatment they need. Many people need daily or weekly treatment, often for several months. Family and friends may help, but they may not always have the time or resources to provide every ride. The American Cancer Society is proud to provide transportation assistance to those in need, by giving free rides to cancer-related medical appointments.
The American Cancer Society continues to work tirelessly to fund research and provide support for all types of cancer. And thanks to your generous support, we work to ensure that everyone has an opportunity to prevent, detect, treat, and survive cancer.
Every cancer. Every life.
